Featured Speaker – Finding Orpheus

Learn firsthand the experience of composing and producing the opera Orpheus. The composer will take you through the commissioning of an opera, the forming of an idea for the theme, the teaching of it to the principals (two out of three of whom spoke no English at all) and its original staging then restaging this past February.
